If you come here for Christmas, you can't miss the biggest Christmas attraction on the island - the largest Nativity scene sculpted from sand. It can be found on Las Canteras beach in the capital of Las Palmas and it's being made each year by artists from various countries.
It's more than 600m² big and the sculptors use hundreds of tons of sand to create this particular masterpiece. This is the biggest sand Nativity in Europe!
